Cimmerian Shade

I know you are within my mind
Hearing the boorish words I ventilate,
my beliefs denied.
'Today is nothing.'
the same justification,
the familiar dysphoria, just a little more blistering.
Resist the temptation to shed useless tears
just hope you're strong.
You'll survive

I know you hear my voice
And my shallow cries
As the echo comes again,
These sores are painful with the same lies.
The familiar dysphoria, just a little more blistering.
Resist the temptation.
Plead in the hopes you will be stronger.
You mus'nt cry.
As each stale day breaks the darkness,
A Cimmerian Shade
I continue on alone
A b a n d o n e d.
Enliving my voices of Aversion,
Cruelty and injustice.
Scathing words of condemnation
A face devoid of expression.
Resist temptation.
Hold your strength.
I  s h a l l  n o t  c r y.

I have paused in life
Stood, knees shaking,
Soul gasping;
Demonstrating my conviction,
My sincerity,
The meaning of my speech.
Expressing my inner feelings,
As I stood there
My arms open for love and hope,
An arrow slid through my susceptible skin.
Slid through my unguarded heart,
Slid past my susceptive spine.

Excruciating pain,
seizing my body.

I  no  longer  have  a  t o m o r r o w.
